Search Engine Marketing (SEM) is one of the most necessary and cost-effective methods of lifting your company or product's visibility online. Most are familiar with its two main components, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click advertising (PPC).

SEO is the organic method of drawing more prominent positions on search results pages (SERPs). The first step is to ensure the terms you're using on your site map to what people are looking for. We'll assess the keywords on your site, and how they're performing. Then we take that list and compare it to your competition's ranked terms, assess the overlap and traffic value of all valid keywords. That provides a path for on-page optimization, and for future content development that attracts traffic and ultimately, leads. 

To improve rankings, we adjust the "signals" search engines review on your site, to ensure proper keywords are in place. Then we review and tweak your site's technical attributes, like page load speeds, to satisfy the requirements for high ranking.

One of the most important aspects of SEO is backlinking. Google and other search engines utilize an algorithm that assesses a web page's expertise and popularity, or "authority", on a particular topic. A simplified way of looking at this is that a link to your site for a topic or keyword is a vote of credibility from that other site. The more votes you have, from the more credible sites, the better your rankings. We'll help you to build a backlinking plan to solicit links from around the web, sometimes even from your competition!

Pay-per-click
PPC is an immediate solution for high keyword ranking. Essentially, you pay for a strong position at the top of the page. PPC is most effective in conjunction with SEO. People tend to prefer organic results, but there's no denying the appeal of a result at the top of the page. 

When constructing a PPC campaign, we consider the keywords you do rank for; the keywords you want to rank for, but don't quite yet, and the keywords you didn't even know are being used to find your products or services.
